anyone interested?
i know from these board there's @ least one other one going
but this one'd be for less advanced students -- some English allowed.
some night after work? depending on interest, maybe semi-regularly in the future? a beer also being somehow involved?

The more practice the better, so I'm definitely interested, Robot.
But - I'm on camp throughout much of July and I'm on vacation for all of August and early september, so if folks can get something going, I'll join later on, because I know after a month in Thailand and England (mostly the latter) I will have forgotten ALL my Korean! |

I might be down too, but I think you two are more advanced than me. I have finished the Sogang 2nd level books and understand much more than I can produce. How about you chaps?
In any event, I could always come, place the orders for the beers and sit silently smiling like an idiot while everyone else chats away... |

the minute someone starts speaking English everyone will speak English and Korean will be done for the night.
I'm interested as well, but am not sure if I'll be able to come. |

cool. sounds like this will happen then.
i'm not so hot with my korean, flotsam. i've never taken a class, so i don't know how i'd place. i can get by in most daily situations, but have trouble putting together longer sentences and carrying on a conversation.
it'd be fun to share some of the tricks we use, some of our favorite words and expressions, et cetera. i think it's no problem if we bring together a whole bunch of people of different levels -- so long as the focus stays on korean.

Yeah I was too intimidated to join the other group that people have going. Something lower level would be cool. By "after work", do you mean 10pmish? Probably not. |

I'm definately interested. Does anyone have a link to the other group as well? I've been speaking Korean for a while so I'd like to see which group would be a better fit for me. |

Where were you planning to meet. I live in Bundang and I finished the second level of Seoul National Universities Survival Korean. I don't know how I'd rank with the rest of you.. Like most I understand more than I can produce.
If anyone is interested in meeting in Bundang or close by I'm definitely in... |
