My boss told me yesterday that because I am recently married and on a family visa that I am no longer entitled to a housing allowance. This sounds like typical korean BS but is this true? I am out in Oct anyways, but whatta jerk. Please advise! |

If your contract says housing... they you get the house or allowance.
Anything else is CRAP and your boss is a cheat.
Since your visa is no longer tied to your boss, tell him to pay or you can just quit.
1 hour notice after your pay has been deposited is adequate. |

there's no law about that, he's just being cheap. If he doesn't pay the housing allowance it's up to you to stick with it for the next 2 months or get paid and walk out sticking it to the cheap SOB. |

I am married and I get a housing allowance. I don't think anyone would take up a job if housing wasn't included. Come on, we are already saving them loads of money on things like airfare and the like... he is being cheap, get paid and leave. |
