My boss told me yesterday that because I am recently married and on a family visa that I am no longer entitled to a housing allowance. This sounds like typical korean BS but is this true? I am out in Oct anyways, but whatta jerk. Please advise!

If your contract says housing... they you get the house or allowance.

Anything else is CRAP and your boss is a cheat.

Since your visa is no longer tied to your boss, tell him to pay or you can just quit.

1 hour notice after your pay has been deposited is adequate.

there's no law about that, he's just being cheap. If he doesn't pay the housing allowance it's up to you to stick with it for the next 2 months or get paid and walk out sticking it to the cheap SOB.

I am married and I get a housing allowance. I don't think anyone would take up a job if housing wasn't included. Come on, we are already saving them loads of money on things like airfare and the like... he is being cheap, get paid and leave.

What is in your contract? What was your original verbal and written agreement?
