GTA meets Mafia.
This is the best way to describe this very cool game. Great for a rainy day.
The controls are the biggest problem for me. Takes a while to get used to all of the different buttons (and there are a lot), but it's still a fun learning curve. The driving gets a bit boring (a la Mafia) but you can stop along the way and blow up some rival families buildings, extort some businesses, get some vendetta points for offing a few thugs, get some reputaion points by laying a sound beating on the Tataglia boys, steal a new car, bribe some cops...a good old gangsters paradise.
A modest machine will run this game well. Very detailed city environment, but the draw is a bit short for my taste.
Anyways, for fans of FPS or RPG games, this is a must. High replayability, a seemingly endless string of side-missions (the gameplay is completely open-ended) and honestly, it seems to be a game without end. Until you control every business, every racket and every warehouse, there is always something to do.
5/5 from me. |
