The scene in the Passion of the Christ when they are whipping Jesus with those spiked things, makes me feel sick thinking about it.

The baseball bat scene from Casino when they are battering Joe Pesci in the shallow grave.

American History X when he makes that bloke bite the kerb. Makes my teeth tingle just thinking about it.

The scene in Misery where she breaks his legs.

Deerhunter - Russian Roulette scene.

Bambi- When Bambi's Mum dies.

Anymore?

Finaly scene from Gallipoli. I saw it for the first time when I was about 10 and it still makes me cry. Really drives home the mindlessness of war.

Great thread idea, but separate "any" and "more" before I pull a retina.

The rape scene in Irreversable. I remember hiding my eyes in my hands and after about five minutes asking my gf 'quesque c'est pass?' and her responding 'Je ne sais pas; je ne peut pas le regarder aussie'. What a god-awful movie that was.

The scene in Pi where the guy sees a brain on the ground and stabs it with a pen. To think I rented that movie for a date.

When the clown from 'IT' comes up through the drain in the shower. Being under 10 at the time probably didn't help much. I hated showers for a bit after that scene.

A couple of moments in The Omen really took me by surprise as a kid. When the pane of glass takes that guys head clean off, and, which movie has the guy sliced right in half by a freefalling cable ? He' s the elevator at the time. Guts spilling out and stuff.

I swear I've never been frightened by a horror movie though. Even as a young kid I seemed to understand fully that this is just make-believe.

Multiple scenes from Requiem for a Dream...

When they are disposing of bodies in Shallow Grave...

When baby Dawn is found dead in Trainspotting

Any movie with Goldie Hawn or Melanie Griffith...

Agree with the American History X, Casino too...

The scene when Hanibal Lecter is slicing that dudes brain, cooking it and feeding it to him.

The scene in The Exorcist when Regan does those crazy sit-ups.

The whole movie Flatliners. (cuz I'd do it if I had the chance)

I'm so glad someone mentioned this... I saw that movie in the theater and I was so nauseous when it ended and I went home... I stayed for god only knows what... I guess I was hoping it was going to really tie the story up but it never really delivered for me... and as far as disturbing goes, the beginning of the movie is pretty nasty too...
I'm pretty scarred from that one.
