i was just inquiring prices for august from korea to southeast asia. philippines is sold out for the dates i'd want!

thailand still has tickets.. but 600,000 won.

anyone in thailand now? how much are flights from BKK to Cebu? Manila? Singapore? Phuket? Myanmar? Mumbai? Addis Ababa?

Just curious.. thinking of various August options I might have if I do the BKK thing!

Phnom Penh was like 2000 baht r/t on air asia

Rangoon was like $100+ each way on Bangkok airways

If you want to stay in SEA get a Bangkok AIrways discovery pass, buy a min of 3 coupons and they will run $90 for an int flight and $50 for a domestic flight plus tax, you can use them on Lao airlines. I went from BKK-Vientienne-Luang Prabang-Samui last month and it cost me 330,000 won. You can buy them in Seoul at the Bangkok AIrways office near city hall.

I say go to Laos, was there for a week and loved it, Luang Prabang was a lovely to chill for a few days

I'm sure some places on KSR have deals to other places

Just dont stay at the Woorburi hotel off Soi Nana in Sumkhumvit, stayed there last month, it was a ripoff at US$19/nite, long way from Sukhumvit and any decent food, breakfast stunk and you have to run the gauntlet of hookers at the NEP, rooms were crappy, my a/c didn't work and the pool was under repair, staff was rude just not a good experience
