specifically somewhere I can go to meet Korean girls and not feel awkward since I just arrived and don't know anyone here. Does anyone know of any good places?

Might not get too many helpful clues here unless you at least let people know what part of town you are in and how old you are. Otherwise, a sure bet is COEX, the bookstore there-I always forget the name, few different places in Itaewon, Gecko's Terrace or Seoul Pub, Woodstock in Gangnam and there's a few places in Jogno I can't remember the name of.

The healthier choices are to join a gym and
hit up one of the free Korean Language classes ASAP.

When you're fresh off the plane and don't know jack about jack, Itaewon's the place you go. It's pretty much rule number one!!

Make foreigner friends first. Meet lots of people. Develop a network. A single hot Korean girl will pop into that network eventually. When she does, go in for the kill.

I'd say hang out in Kangnam/Apku since you'll have a better chance of finding a disease free one that speaks reasonable Englishee. Apart from that, lots of them go to Hongdae looking for fresh white meat. Avoid Itaewon like the plague, chances are if she's been hanging out there she'll have had more US semen up her than the sixth fleet.

Have a long shower. Get dressed up to the nines. I'm talking skinny jeans, pair of scuffed up stan smiths, nice vintige tshirt (straw hat optional). have a couple of quick drinks beofre you get the train to hongdae. Hang around the bars looking aloof/cool (cigarette optional), but not so cool as to scare off potential ladyfriends for the evening. Get talking to a small group of them. Be interesting/funny/self depricating/humble/sensitive. Make sure everyone is drinking steadily. You'll be beating them off with a stick by the end of the night. Hopes this helps.
