IlsanMan and YaTa Boy come to mind, for completely different reasons.
Incidentely, boring topic posts are not always a bad thing. Some of the best threads were spawned from mediocrity. "Post nothing of interest," and "xxx" come to mind. They just need a kick start, that's all. (And I'm afraid I've done nothing for this one Crying or Very sad )

Yataboy's post about socks was an example of how one can write a great deal yet at the same time write very little.

I would think my "what are the odds of you being killed by a falling body in Seoul" post would rate a mention.

That's exactly right. I just stumbled onto that one. It was other posters, not me, who saw something potentially fun (oh goody, I'll post something incredibly boring on this thread! Very Happy) rather than what I'd intended (don't post anything interesting on Dave's for awhile) in the title. So, a thread that wasn't even meant to be replied to has gone on for 10 pages now.

I wonder what sort of ratings a TV show called "That BORING Show" would get. Not too shabby, I betcha.

I disagree. Junior's original post was enjoyable. I laughed for a good minute and read it two or three times.

Any post centered around the Da Vinci code. The book is overhyped beyond belief, but I am sure some atheists think the same thing about the bible.

Any of the inane topics that contain the word "my Kgirl". This guarantees I will not read it.

Well, this atheist would say that The Da Vinci Code is more boring than The Bible, although The Bible is still more overhyped. I generally skip threads on both. Actually, from an atheist's perspective they have one problem in common. They assume that you have some religious faith and go from there. And neither make a serious effort to prove anything, they just throw up a bunch of crap and hope you catch some on the way down. Oh, and they are both mostly works of fiction whose authors make dubious claims of fact.
