Hi
There seem to be some good jobs available in Cheong-ju City, but for a low wage (2 million plus accom).
What is the cost of living like in this city? What sort of money can you save on this monthly wage?
Thanks!

Hi Tammie,
I lived near Cheong Ju. Will this be your first time in Korea? 2 million isn't a terrible wage for a "smaller" city. You should be able to save 700,000 to 1 mil a month without too much effort, depending on your lifestyle of course. |

| You can save at least a million there depending on how much you spend at the bar. Given that that is about all there is to do in Cheongju, you have to be creative if the bar isn't your scene. When I lived there, I spent a good bit going toSeoul about 2weekends a month. But cheongju is really traditional so you have to be ready to live in that environment. |
