Check Taiwan. It's the only place I could find a ticket to when I booked this week. |

What dates are you looking for?
I looked into Philippines and all the seats are booked for the time frames I was considering. Still some for Thailand however its expensive - 600,000 range. |

How about a flight to Hong Kong.. and book online through AsiaAir or a couple of those other discount southeast asian airlines to get you out of HK after that?
I was able to book a reservation from Korea to BKK in mid-August for 2 1/2 weeks.. nothing for MNL available though. In short, you might not get the entire month, but you could get a few weeks at least direct from Korea. |

According to their website, Korean Air still has seats to Taipei on the 30th. Check the e-super savers. According to the website, its about W450,000 (including taxes), but you need a Korean credit card. If you make the reservation over the phone its like W900,000. I ended up paying about W508,000 with whypaymore.com. |

I just booked and paid for a couple of seats to Taipei with Cathay Pacific for the 30th Sunday.
Luckily, Taipei was our choice of holiday destination this year, as I only get one whole bloody week off.......... |

OK but could you please explain to me why I would want to go to Taipei?? Or Taiwan for that matter. No offense, but I never heard it brought up in conversations as a popular tourist destination. I am looking for nightlife scenes similar to PI or Thailand, as well as nice beaches...etc. I do know Taiwan has great food and friendly people. Also costs? Both Thailand and PI are relatively cheap.
As far as HK goes, I lived there 15 years and have to go back every 3 years to keep my permanent residency...so I have another year before my next return.
Perhaps someone can give me a private message about Taiwan
thank you very much |

Got a ticket to Clark for 340.00 + tax, from there it was suggested to me to go to Subic Bay. That is almost half the price of what I was originally quoted. |
