Hi, I want to order in some food, but not really sure of how to go about it, esp. since i know no Korean...I have heard something about they give you dishes and then they come back to pick them up...is this true? And are you supposed to leave the dishes outside the door, or will they knock on your door when they return?
And what is standard in terms of how fast they are? re we supposed to tip? Any advice would be great! |

I don't speak Korean either, so what I do is print out my address in Korean (get a coteacher to write/type address), then walk to a few food delivery places, give them my address, and just gesture that I will call for delivery once in a while. So I call, say my name, then "Kimchi Bokumbap chuseo." Works for me. You do need to know how to say the dishes you want though. |
