That is definitely a cool poster.

I'd be willing to forgive the hair 'transgression', as long as the movie doesn't completely suck, like Die Another Day.

Yeah, pretty badass. For the last few movies they've been saying "We're taking James Bond back to his more classical roots" and each time they've gone exactly in the opposite direction. I'm curious to see how this movie ends up.

Thought this was a silly thread at first, but that is a pretty cool poster. Hope that means a movie without any diamond-encrusted albino Norks...

I just read the Maxim feature on the new movie.

Basically, they've stripped it down to a more Bourne-ish type movie. Very, very little CGI, mind-blowing stunts, no Q, no invisible cars with rocket launchers, etc.

One of the villains is a badass freewalker, so I'm sure the fights/stunts will be intense.

Wasn't "Casino Royale" the name of the first Bond movie, starring some guy that never played Bond again?

Actually I just saw that movie on Korean TV recently. It's hardly watchable. Apparently Peter Sellers and Orson Welles hated each other so much, they had to film all their scenes separately.

Aside from banking, email, downloading music, and Dave's, the internet and I don't get along well.

Someone in the Broccoli family once said, "We always try to make From Russia With Love and wind up making Thunderball."

Anyway, if it's true that they're kicking Q out that is very good news.

"Bond Begins"

Just going on the poster and the success of Batman Begins, expect the genesis story revisited, lots of angst, and staring into the abyss as Bondy kills his first. (Probably a childhood friend)

Please forgive me, but I have to quote Shania Twain:

That don't impress me much.
