How many of these places speak English? Chances of me receiving a delivery successfully if they don't speak English?

The first few times I called, I told them my name and address. Now I just have to say my name and what I want.

You just have to go through the same drill as the rest of us

Have a friend tell you how to tell your address in korean, then read the names of the items you want from the menu (you may have to add some numbers in, even if it's only 하나 for one). Finish by 빨리주세요 and you're all set.

I used to time myself while ordering pizza. In the first 2-3 weeks I went from over 2 minutes on the phone to 32 seconds. Now I can pretty much order whatever I want provided they have pics on the menu, because there are some items in korean food I don't want anywhere near my home, even by mistake.

Ordering food and having it delivered promptly, cheaply and hot is one of the great things about living here. It is well worth learning your address and getting a friend to help you with the language you need on the phone. Happy in-dining!!
