| I received a job offer with YBM Sinchon One to One. Has anyone worked or is working for them, or knows anyone who has? I would like to know what they are like What is housing like in the area and what are the costs? How much is key money and security costs for apartments? Any information would be helpful. |

I haven't worked there, but I live in that neighborhood.
WHat I can tell you is that the Sinchon YBM is brand new, so I'd be surprised if you find anyone who's worked there yet, but there are plenty of threads about other YBM branches. I'm pretty sure that the YBM adult hogwons, including this one, are centrally controlled, not franchises, so the differences between branches shouldn't be all that drastic.
One of the cheaper neighborhoods to live in is right near there (Nogosandong/Daeheungdong), so you should be able to get fairly reasonable housing. My apartment is 5 million key money plus 400K/month rent for a sunny but small 2nd floor apartment. With a higher deposit and/or lower standards (i.e. basement apartment or rooftop) you could probably live cheaper. It's a great neighborhood to live in, lots of great restaurants, some of the best nightlife in the city, and centrally located. |

unfortunately with neighbors like Son Dureo it's not as great as it could be but at least the questionable neighbors keep the rent down.
