I work for an after school program in a public school managed by a private company, but I'm actually an employee of the elementary school. I missed a bunch of days and the private company decided to let me go one month before the end of the contract, rightfully so.

Now, I went ahead and found a summer camp to work for during August, figuring the school would cancel my visa and/or continue my visa and just give me permission to work a summer camp. What I didn't know is the private company didn't tell the public school I had missed classes, fearing they would lose face, and now the principal won't cancel my Visa, like we all planned.

Can I just leave Korea, which in effect cancels my Resident Visa, and then get a C-4 Visa in Japan, and come back?
