One often hears these days that Israel's actions to defend itself will only "create more terorists"
Yet one NEVER hears the chattering leftist class [pointing blame at the parenting skills so endemic in the Arab world.
Again, Golda Meir's words ring truly prophetic..
Peace will come when the Arabs love their children more than they hate us.

I agree and also with the converse..........the statement means very little. It is bigoted, indicating 1. that Arabs don't love their kids 2. Israelis don't have a responsibility to love and it is all in the hands of "arabs" to determine their fate.
This to me seems to be the crux of the Israel arguement (sorry, unfortunate word for so many dying but I will refrain from any truthful licence.). The arguement is, like some old and tired B action movie, THE FUTURE IS ALL IN YOUR HANDS. DO THE RIGHT THING AND EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE ALRIGHT.
That arguement is so hideously self centered and disrespectful of another culture. It is ethnocentric to the nth degree. Do as we say or you are evil...........we are back to the age of the Remington...........

Yes, that's the problem....ethnocentrism. It's entirely 'ethnocentric' to criticise the Arabs for indoctrinating their children to hate the Jews and to yearn for 'matyrdom'. Celebrating suicide bombings and portraying Jews as 'apes and pigs' are legitimate cultural expressions of a vibrant and rich Arab cultural tradition. Who are we to tell them to stop such vilification? That would be 'ethnocentric' and dare I say 'bigoted'. Now let's all sit down and engage in some inter-faith dialogue. |

the hatred one sees in today's hizbollah terrorists is the same hatred being inculcated into the children in the pics in the op. by the way, there are literally 1000's of such images of arab kids being raised in a jew-hating manner ----putting even the nazis to shame, for the average german NEVER made their CHILDREN partake of such open hatred of Jews.
They (hizbollah) MUST be destroyed. End of debate. |

Do you have anything other than your blinding anti-anti-american opinion to back up this? I doubt it very much. Anyways, the reason there are more pictures here is because most people didn't have cameras available all the time back before and during the war. I doubt your statement very much. |

look, hizballah is just a drop in the ocean. eliminating them won't do jack. another group will fill in the void. it is fruitless.
Want to prevent hizballah and co. from being effective? attack its funding and suppliers (ie Syria and Iran).

Exactly. Want to eliminate the problem? You'd have to eliminate all arabs, then all persians (who would be out for revenge), then pakistanis (ditto), then turks (ditto), etc etc etc before all Muslims are then dead. Then hell, maybe by that point the EU would finally wake up and show force when it saw an atrocity instead of bitch and moan and say, "Diplomacy at all costs!" |

I think that Laogaiguk represents the new backlash to the anti-antiAmerican poster -- that is, the anti-anti-antiAmerican or "counter to the counterposters."
It is unhealthy and strange that he would feel it necessary to continually make this point.
In any case, I protest and object to your emerging anti-anti-antiAmerican views, Laogaiguk. They fail to recognize what is a legitmate backlash to a preexisting anti-ism.
I will devote time to articulating and proposing a counter anti-anti-anti-antiAmerican argument. Please stand by.

Second, Gopher, Sundubuman refuses to see any criticism against America as heathy, even when it is. He has massive blinders on, like you and Joo. You guys are intelligent, but so blinded by your "fears" it's sad. Anyways, do you think that the arabs are worse than the Germans were back in pre WWII and during? |

There are 250+ million Arabs whereas there were how many germans? Less than half that number, and they were a lot more concentrated in location than Arabs are.
Seems to me the closer to Saudi an Arab is, the bigger the bigot he is. |
