Heya,
I've searched the Forums but to no avail, so my question is:
Can one use a phone from the UK here in Korea? I asked a chicky at the local KT shop and she was baffled.
In theory it should work on the Korean network, but without a Sim Card my phone just says INSERT SIM.
Anyone managed to work round this? I'm sure a friend of mine a couple of years back made his Irish phone work...
My phone is an unlocked Sony Ericsson T610 |

I am not aware that you can use a GSM phone here in Korea, where the networks are, predominantly ADSM. I say predominantly because I am not sure if technologies have changed in the last year or so - I hear of it but I don't know of anyone who's got further with it.
None of the GSM phones I brought over work, I keep them, however, because I need them when hubby and I go to China on business. |
