Just wondering if anyone can suggest some good workout music. I can't stand the crap they play at my gym. |

Superman theme!!
Anything with a pulse. I know it's not "good" music (in that it is simple) but I like punk rock at the gym. Lots of energy |

Rock music or dance music is the way to go. Hell, the last couple of workouts, I've been cycling through Sonic Youth albums.
For running, get a bunch of tracks that you know well and love singing along to. Makes the time fly. |

rage against the machine or public enemy.
the musics hard (good motivation) and the lyrics have some depth (something to pay attention to). |

RJD2. Nice call.
Personally, I've been listening to Saigon. Badass rapper. Or Ludacris. Laugh if you will. The beats help. I crank up the volume as high as it will go. So far, no complaints from neighbors. |

This is one of those types of posts that has me thinking... hmm... 'I don't know if there is really an easy answer to this?' Find a collection of songs that you like right now and they'll keep you going for a while. Just be prepared to change them up after a number (large number) of workouts because after time, those same songs will fail to uplift you like they did before. Then you'll have to look for others to do the same. That's the best advice I can give. No song will keep you striving to bring out the best of you forever. |

Look at the post of yours. Things that make you go hmm. 80's techo, indeed. Maybe if you're a woman. |

Before every football match at university I used to have my MP3 player on for the warmup. Beautiful Day by U2 was always the last song before we came out. |
