Personal Bankruptcy Filings Hit Record
The number of bankruptcies filed by individuals reached an all-time high in the first half as more people are unable to service their debts amid a sluggish domestic economy....
Individual bankruptcies will likely increase in the second half as the economy will not show any marked improvement and individuals with low credit standing will find it harder to borrow at financial firms, bank officials said.
