I'm an Australian English teacher who has taught in Korea twice before, I have a TESOL and a Degree, and about three years teaching experience.
My last job was at a university in Kyungsan, close to Daegu.
I just arrived back in Korea yesterday. I am living at Beo meo dong and I already have accomodation but I am looking for Summer Camp work preferably somewhere close. Children or adults are fine. Shi ji would be nice. I will be here for about two months. Anything is fine as long as they don't mind short term and I prefer Monday to Friday.
The reaction from Recruiters seems to be that they don't know of any Summer Camp work.
Obviously I have already paid for my plane ticket - I'm not sure if I can get the Japan trip sponsored or not, but I will have to try my luck. I think for short term they don't usually do this.
I did post on the job wanted board and have been looking at the job board, but got a whole lot of automatic responses of questionaires, many of them don't know of any summer work or are unwilling to set people up, one of the two.
Thanks, any help will be appreciated.
