Rain is none stopping and I'm just wasting time before I go home to the U.S. and MORE rain.
So I'm wondering, if you can pick a fight with any person in history and battle them in any Korean martial art i.e. Taekwondo, Kumdo, Hapkido, Taekyon, etc. Who would you fight and what would the outcome be?
Me? Ralph Waldo Emerson! Any man that has earned the right to be addressed by his full name is a guy I want to face. It would be a slap-down, drag-out Taekwondo style.
I begin with quick flurry of kicks to the mid-section but are dodged, blocked and paried like a grand-master with a constant stoic expression. Then he tells me, "Son, I'm a transparent eyeball! What've you got? Bring it on! I see all and nothing!"
And like a Zen master, he calmly performs a spinning jump kick to my head, knocking me senseless, then kneels down to pull off a sweeping kick to my legs sending me to my backside and finishes me off with a LawrenceFishburnMatrixknee to the forehead. GAME.......OVER!
Then Ralph straightens his clothes, brushes the dust off, but not the sweat because there is none and walks off into the distance to give another transcendentalist lecture.... |

| I would choose to take on Thomas Edison (that b*stard, taking full credit for all the inventions made by his employees). I would stand back and kick him in the light bulbs, breaking his perfected phonograph. Fight over. |
