Is it better to buy a whole bike or in pieces?
I'm looking at an American Eagle MT, though I've no idea if its any good to at least bring back home. |

| If you're serious about riding, I would suggest buying a good frame and building/buying the rest of the bike to fit your needs. Its an expensive route, but the frame is the most important part. I don't know about American Eagle though. I ride a cannondale semi-pro street racer. (No, I'm not a semi pro racer, it was my gift to myself when i got divorced.) I have two sets of handlebars. One for racing, one to use as a street bike. Two seats. One for racing, one for comfort. |

| Can someone tell me the difference between alloy spokes and the plastic looking type (5-6 spokes)? |
