| I've never understood why pretty much all vacations are scheduled for summer. I prefer spring/fall ones when I have jobs that allow me to choose the time. |

Geez, is it still raining there?!!!
In the 4 years I was in Seoul I never saw the Han as overflowing as the pics people have been posting this summer--not even close. I never thought the Han could ever get like that
We had a couple of cool summers while we were there--I always preferred those, don't like the heat at all.

Maybe, but at this point I'd almost take the heat over flooded roads and zero visibility when driving on said roads. |

| Its the monsoon. July and august were always bad for continuous rain here. August 2004 was as bad if not worse. |

It's been dry here on Jeju for the last few days.
Surprisingly, the news last night said Jeju was not expected to get any rain worth mentioning for the next month! Hard to believe that, but I guess I can believe that it will be relatively dry. |

| The weather in Korea stinks. September and October are good. Then 10 months of crap. And I thought Canada had lousy weather. Oh well, one week to go, then see ya. |

| We just had the most amazing thunder and lightning storm. It was raining so hard the rain was bouncing a foot off the ground. Great storm. Sunny now to boot! |

heck we'd take some of that rain here in Texas, got back 2 weeks ago and nothing but temps near 100F (38C) and not a hint of rain. None expected for at least the next 10 days either unless something gets going in the Gulf
Not that you'd want this heat, for here its unusually hot even for July and Aug, usually around 92-95 its been around 102-105
I just hope my apt is OK been gone 5 weeks and still got another 3 to go before coming back |
