Not to up the nerd index around here (we sure don't need that )..... but, is anyone aware of an "I'm teaching English in Asia/Korea" IRC Channel? If not, would anyone be interested in one? If people are interested, I think I'll be setting one up on EFnet. It seems like it would be a great compliment to Daves/Englishspectrum/whatever (anyone get those e-mails from get-by.com?). It would also be able to bridge the gap between the many fourms, which would be nice. Plus, NERD GATHERING!
Anyway, hope to see y'all in #kimchi... in fact... in case there's not an IRC channel, I think I'm just going to idle in #kimchi on EFnet |

That would be fun
Instead of yelling at each other on the forum you' be yelling at each other over IRC ....
How are you going to keep the troublemakers out of there, and how will you perpetuate the service? |

| You ever used IRC? Basically, you don't worry about the troublemakers *too* much, and if the room is fun, people stay there, perpetuating the service. Anyway, I'm idling in #kimchi on irc.efnet.org if anyone's so inclined. |
