So, are those ugly Crocs being worn in Korea yet? I'd rather wear newspaper shoes^^ |

Woah, major deja vu!
I could have sworn you started a thread on this already!
Must be the bad dreams those banana peels have been giving me (note to self: remember to peel bananas first before attempting to smoke the peels). |

Are they wearing those ugly Crocs shoes in Korea now, too? They are in the US and they are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. They are clogs with holes all in them and they are made of plastic. |
You really should try to find some friends who you can talk to about things like this in real life..... |

I thought we had already had a thread on this. I've seen imitation Crocs, but not the real things yet. I wear them (the real Crocs). They're actually on my feet right now. I love them! They're comfortable, cool, and easy to keep clean.
And they're not made of plastic, they're made of rubber.

I have talked with friends about it, just not the ones in Korea. |

Bought a pair today,
so I guess I owe some apologies here and in
http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/korea/viewtopic.php?t=55640
Wife had some for a while and said they were super comfortable.
They're not rubber, not plastic, some synthetic compound patented by the company whereby the footbed molds itself to your feet (in much the same way that Birkenstocks do).
Still, they were too fugly for me to wear, no matter how comfortable they are...
but that's changed too as they have different styles now:

Those new ones aren't that bad...
I hadn't heard of Crocs until I visited home this summer and was amazed that people were wearing those ugly bastards...
I just didn't get it at all.. What the hell is the attraction? Flamboyant ugliness? |
