Foreign businesses not following through on plans to invest in FEZs
Foreign businesses are not following through on their initial plans to invest in South Korea's free economic zones (FEZs), a report by the National Assembly Budget Office said Sunday.... The parliamentary budget office said concerns over labor-management strife, a lack of social overhead infrastructure, the relatively small domestic market and excessive administrative red tape are holding up large-scale investments.

The governement already new for a long time that the hardware they installed is not doing the job.
The problem is the software, the skills, the people, the cost, the opportunities.
Having sat thrue some meetings of Chambers of Commerce, they have complained about this fron day 1.
No one was really listening it seems. |
