|
|
howdy folks,
been here somewhere in the middle of nowhere in korea for almost 2 months now and wanted to take a vacation to china in a week or two.
Now i heard and read all about the re-entry permit situations:
My question is: "what IS the difference between having an E-2 Visa sticker in my US passport that has an "M" under Entries and the so popular "re-entry stamp" in order to leave beautiful korea for vacations?
My irish friend's visa sticker has only a "Single" entry and hence i'm sure he needs the reentry stamp, but what about me ?
Thanks for clarifications or might it just be more confusion? hehe. |

Hi,
If your E-2 Visa stamp has 'M' than you already can enter and exit Korea multiple times during the term of your Visa. You will not need a re-entry permit. Your Irish friend will need one.
Also, the immigration office at the airport will only issue a single re-entry stamp. If your friends wants a multiple he will have to get it in advance at an immigration office nearest his home.
All the best, |
