|
|
Hi,
I was hoping someone here could recommend me to a gym (nothing special, the cheaper the better) in the Daechi/Seoullung area - preferably near Seoullung or Hanti station ?
I just checked out one gym and they wanted 240,000KRW for 3 months, which seems a bit steem considering it wasn't a great looking place.
Thanks in advance!

i go to spozone -- just a couple blocks from seolleung.
decent machines, quite friendly staff. a couple speak english quite well, too, if you'd like.
can't remember what i pay exactly -- think it's about W60 000 a month. the deal is you sign up for 3 months and you get one for free.
this place is quite good compared to some of the other joints in this area.
tried out american fitness, and there was a foot of dirty water in the shower room and mushrooms growing on the wall.

Thanks for the replies.
robot, where is spozone you mentioned? Two blocks towards Kangnam station or the other way? I was going to check out American Fitness, but if you suggest there's better deals I'll look elsewhere...
eamo, did you find out anything more?
All the best, |

when you're walking away from seolleung, pass america fitness and keep walking for a minute more. pass the big ktf building and a road that goes uphill at a sharp angle. it will be the next big building, inside and in the basement. don't enter the building; take the stairs to the right just outside the front doors.
check out america fitness too to compare.

I go to I-Gym fitness center, pretty much dead on daechi junction...prices vary between 50-70 thousand a month (depending on how long you pay up for, whether you pay cash, or if the guy just feels like giving you a discount!).
I like the place (they're quite friendly, and I tend to see the same people) but it is very small, and it's also somewhat on the moldy side... |
