I have been searching the internet for a map of Kwangju and cant find anything even remotely decent. Google earth works good but It cannot locate anything. Such as businesses or even a breakdown of the gu's and dong's etc.

If anyone knows where I can find a nice map that might be able to break down the city with some labels and other useful information so I can figure out where the heck I am when im there would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

First off, get yourself a dictionary. Typos are one thing, but using "their", when you mean "there" is so middle school.

I'll assume you're going to the big Gwangju, down south. In that case, the KNTO should have a decent map of the city.

If you're going to the one near Seoul, there's nothing there except rice paddies, a hotuk stand and several public schools, as far as I could tell.

There is a funny but oddly interesting map, most useful for seeing "where did I go today?" rather than "how do I get there?" It's paper and I don't know of a good one online, but will look online later.

Are you here yet or planning ahead?

The best maps for you will be the paper-based ones that you can pick up at the tourist info centers. Beyond that, you'd have to learn Korean, so you can understand the Beetlemaps.

The Beetlemaps website looks pretty interesting! Thanks for sharing.

I can't get any of the 서현 maps to work, though.
