In a nutshell, I'm having some pretty serious problems with my laptop. Don't want to get into the actual problem on here, because I know it's a hardware problem and not really fixable by some random trick or compressed air.
I'm thinking of taking it to Yongsan this weekend, but would like to find someone who speaks English there. If anyone can recommend anyone, I'd appreciate it.
Even if it's not in Yongsan! As long as it's in Seoul...or even better...if it's in Bundang!

Laptop repairs, as you may well know, are extremely expensive, consequently not worth the repair vs. new one scenario.

What is wrong with it? What model? Are you willing to work on it yourself?

Expensive, yeah.
The night after I posted saying that my two notebooks had been running without a problem, the older one killed its own motherboard. After seeing the motherboard replacement cost (and they're still not certain about the status of the other components), I'm seriously considering upgrading to a new one and transferring the data.
Never say how well something is running - it'll jinx it every time! Smile

There is a chap in Yongsan, he's done several repairs for me over the years. From Yongsan station, take the covered walkway into the first building. His store is on the fourth floor, north-west quadrant. I think the unit number is 437 and if I remember well its sign has white lettering on a red background.
