Anybody know any agencies that might help? I'm looking for work primarily in the media industry, voice acting is a start. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Where are you and do you have a demo tape?

If aplicalbe to you, there is a book availble that comes out every year called The Source, that has all kinds of info in it for talent. It's not focused primarily on voice over talent, but it would give you some contact info. I took some classes and looked into it, but just the cost of getting a demo tape is enough to deter me for the time being. Good luck!

Male or female? Experience? If so, doing what type of recording. It's a tight market, and nobody is eager to give potential competition a break.

Most of the people doing voice work in Seoul have years of experience now, and client companies ask for them by name. The 'media' jobs that you mentioned are covered by a small, very experienced, handfull of people.

Agents are great if you are new to the game, but there is a pecking order, so you probably wouldn't be getting enough work to make ends meet, at least for the first year or so.

Another development has been the surge in Kyopo voice actors. They make their own connections, are totally legal, and do a great job. Agents will have you over the barrel if you are not legally here to do the work.

Happy hunting.
