Who the heck is...? I did a google and that took me to wikipedia.
A band called Yeah yeah yeahs...what do they sound like? Just from the photos I saw online they look like the Cure meets the Pretenders or something. But since they are from New York I bet they sound like Sonic Youth.
I stopped buying CDs in 1990...and my musical knowledge has remained frozen in time. Recently I thought I would try downloading music so I tried one of those stupid download services, but every file they let you download is in some stupid proprietary format.
I gave away all of my vinyl LPs to my students before I moved to Korea, they seemed happy to get their hands on it. I saved only one LP. |

You knew that already. I told you.
And I am 50% Irish, 25% Polish and 25% Korean.
We were made for each other. (Her and me--not you and me. Stop panting.) |

| I heard the Yeah Yeah Yeahs wound up playing at about 2pm on Friday at the rock festival last weekend - is that true? Was anyone there to actually see them? I realize this was probably a pitstop for them en route to Fuji, but 2pm just seems like a weird time for them to play. Good thing I didn't try to bust ass to get up there for Friday night. |

You did? Was I with you at the time? And are you really part Korean?
Geez, you think you know a guy.
And aren't you supposed to be in Burma or someplace? Enjoy your vacation, Flash!
PS - I found this out -- for the 2nd time, apparently -- today while watching YYY interviewed on TRL Seoul. Man, what a grueling interview that was. Highlight:
Q: What Korean foods do you like?
Nick Zinner: I like Ddeokbokki.
Q: Isn't it too spicy?

| I saw an interview with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Korean TV. They didn't get past the fact that she's half Korean. The other band members looked neglected. Hell, they didn't even mention the band. |

You were with me: so was Jose. We decided she's mine due to your standing commitments.
It's the kimchi residual gathered in my colon. At least 25% of my body mass by now. You too, probably. Duh.
That was last year.
P.S. billy, you won't be invalid for long, then you die.
P.P.S. The last time I ate ddeokbeoki, I vomited my spleen as a mass of molten manflesh. Golly, but Korean food is SPICY!!!. Like one of them bean burritos at Taco Bell. Yow! |
