I think if anything we'll get the rements of it.
Usually once it goes over land it breaks up. But Japan isn't that large of a land mass and neither is Florida. There have been times when a typhoon (or hurricane) goes over a mass of land and then picks up steam again.
Up here in Seoul I would say it's highly unlikely we'd see anything but a little bit of rain. There's always a chance Gangwon-do could get hit again though. |

Aaaah! It's comming for me!
Oh well, considering I didn't have to endure flooding and whatnot like I hear happened around Seoul, I suppose I deserve some rain from the remenants of a typhoon.. |

I cant see it hitting Korea , I could be wrong though.
If anything as previously mentioned we could get the reminants of it in N. Gyeongsang or around 부산 |

This is the Korean prediction of how it will move according to www.weather.go.kr:
BTW, there is another one called Saomai that is vaguely coming this way, too:

interesting that the www.weather.go.kr prediction is very different from the weather underground one. wonder who is right and what could account for the discrepancy... |

best source is the joint typhoon warning center, don't have their website handy but thats what afn, cnn, the bbc, the weather channel all use for forecasting storms out here |

Hey, Maria -- you're welcome to stay at my place if you can cool things down for about a week... and maybe cook a little light vegetarian. Nothing too fancy.
Anyway, think it over and shoot me a PM. |

If the updated map above is correct then the southern peninsula should get something. I would appreciate some rain to cool off a bit. It's miserably hot here in Daegu. |

I hope Japan doesn't get it too rough. The rain would be a nice change though. |
