I've been trying to stock up on these, plus do a little dvr recording from tv, but I only have three full length dvds.... Catch the Stars, Save the day, and Animal Adventures. I'm hoping that someone out there knows about Dora and how great the series is, need info on where to look for it in Seoul, or a website, I'd like to avoid future shipping costs and find them locally...any info is much appreciated, I have a "friend" whos wife is about to give birth and I'm thinking these would be great gifts. Thanks...

Has anyone caught the Korean version of Dora on EBS? She's only on TV here on Sunday mornings. She speaks Korean and English...and...maybe still a tad of Spanish. When she sings, the English words are put on the screen like subtitles, too. However, at the end of the show when she sings the "We Did It!" song, they often screw up the subtitles because of the Spanish words that appear in the song.

Wouldn't this throw off all the Korean kids who are trying to sing along? Would they even realize that the words 'lo hicimos' are not English?

Is Dora popular at all in Korea? It seems like the Spanish words might throw people off. Certainly the Dora image doesn't appear as often on toys or books as the Pororo animals, or for that matter, Go Go Giggles.

The problem with Korean dora is that she speaks too much Korean. Much more Korean than she does Spanish in the originals.

We bought a set ov VHS and then one DVD, I've since downloaded about 7-8 DVD's via torrents.

I was at Kyobo on Friday and saw a couple of them there, I've also seen them at costco and carrefour. But if you want the non-Korean version then you'll either have to download them or order them from ebay, amazon, or some other place.

You can download about 20 episodes off Limewire. My son was a huge fan but now favors Elmo.

If your child is bi-lingual Korean and English, what's wrong with it having *too much* Korean in it?

Personally I don't think it matters.

Letty loves Elmo, too, and has a ton of Elmo books. She often gets one one out and points at Elmo and goes *Emmo*.. hehe.. cute.
