Convince me.
I have a 6800GT 512ram card.
All games currently out run flawlessly on Ultra settings. Why should I upgrade now rather than waiting until the games can no longer run smoothly on Ultra? |

yeah.
now instead of the 6800GT (which now runs everything), I am thirsty for the 7900GT OC.
I probably should just wait until I build my new system and sell this one. |

Aren't you contradicting yourself?
If the 6800GT is running everything flawlessly then why want a 7900GT?
I don't know if it's for other reasons, maybe my CPU or hard drive, but I still can't turn all the settings up to full when playing Oblivion. It's stuttery and hard to play. And I have a 7900GT. Some games just demand more than almost any card out there can cope with. But like I said, it may be other bottlenecks in my computer.
Some games though......the 7900GT runs FEAR so smooth it feels like you're in a movie. |

contradicting myself? No. Being stupid and wanting the one of the best out there? yes.
Oblivion? I'll have to look into that one. Never heard of it. You say you are having trouble with it on a 7900GT?????
What kind of ram do you have? CPU? |

You've never heard of oblivion??
And you call yourself a gamer!? Go get it immediately! Especially if you plan on upgrading to such a kickass card! A quick google search will tell ya why
As for upgrading, if I were you, I'd wait a few more months because it's about that time of year for the next generation of vid cards to start coming out. Which means price drops on the current gen. |

Yes....Oblivion is a superbly, addicting game...
The main quest wasn't too long, but then, who does the main quest? |
