I've just made the switch, and so glad I did. Had no idea what I was missing... however, there's just one thing I liked about I.E. that Mozilla seems to lack.
I transferred all my bookmarks over, and now the "logo" for each bookmark is just a simple white page rather than an original graphic. IE would remember the website's "logo" so if I wanted to go to AltaVista I would simply look for their stylized AV logo and click on it; for CNN, I would just click on the CNN logo.. etc. etc. Anyone know how to make Mozilla use such logos? |

i think you're talking about favicons? They should show up in Firefox also. Sometimes it just takes a while for them to do so. They will eventually.
If you like Firefox, you'll love Opera. Better in my opinion. |

I think I found a way to do it. Re-visiting the links helps the bookmarks section. I also have a bookmark toolbar beneath my address bar with site names for easy reference. Those are the ones where the names aren't coming up... even if I delete, revisit the site, etc. |

| Do you mean you want to see icons for the bookmarks in the favorites bar? I don't think Firefox does that. But you can rename them to whatever you want--just right-click the bookmark in the bar and select Properties from the drop down menu. |
