Its an ok system, but that really depends on the owners. They have a meeting once a month or 3 to discuss things, whats happening among schools, what teachers are availble, etc. But apart from that they don't really influence the school much.

If you have a good school or not depends on the Boss.

Be honest people...we all know that the material and system at kids club is notorious. The bosses usually are terrible and the money is not worth the effort. Kids club and LCI kids club are different but they are still franchises.
They have a kindergarten program and an elementary program and I know from personal experience that they both are horrible programs. Take the job if you want it, but I would be careful.

Unfortunately our school was sold to a new Director 3 weeks into our contract. At the time he said no changes, same school etc. A month later they put up a huge Kids Club sign and took away all our decent resources and gave us the terrible outdated Kids Club books. So we were tricked into it. Now they are demanding phone teaching too but as we are the only 2 Foreingn teachers we have told them exactly where to stick that particular whimsical C rap

Hi all,
I for one think that Kids Club is onto a good idea. Total english immersion for the kindy's. But it seems that lately they are selling the schools to the worst of the worst in directors. Many folks are getting raped by them and they seem to know all the boundaries of the law that they can break or bend to suit them. I know they probably sound like alot of others out there as well, but after putting in my time there, and all the things I had to fight about just to get through the year made the Korean experience one I won't look back on with a nice though for some time to come. The Kids club in Changwon, Sangnamdong is one of the worst in the chain. I think all teachers looking for work have to take a real good look at this place and avoid it. Hopefully they will close down and it will be one less nightmare some poor, inexperienced waygook to get caught in.

I don't know anyone currently working at Kids Club (SangNamDong), but I know many who have. I can tell you only bad things. Unless you are hoping to jump in the sack with the manager, STAY AWAY!!! (She is married, though you wouldn't know it from her "dating" habits.) I know the school forced a couple out before their contract was finished. (A good thing, but they were counting on the extra money for traveling.) I know the school illegally fired a guy in his 11th month. (He ended up getting over 4 million won.) There are so many horror stories of this school it would take me a month just to cover the last couple of years. Like I said, I know many people who have worked there, and I don't know anyone who has anything good to say about it. My advice....STAY AWAY!!!!

RUN LIKE HELL! Kid's Club (Fun Languages) is a total shit brand! Their books suck and they sell their schools to mentalist directors.
