If youve ever had the pleasure of staying at the Hilltop Motel in Seoul, you may find this interesting.

It seems as if The Hilltop is a chain and they are literally all over the world.

I found this one while touring through Texas yesterday in a little town called Menard. I immediately pulled in as to inquire as to any benefits I might be entitled to considering my record of stay at the Seoul Hilltop.

I was delighted to find out that they did indeed have my name on file and that I was eligible for a room discount and some various coupons.

One word of warningThis is Texas and there are a lot of rattlesnakes laying around and contorting about on the walkway up to the office. Beware.

Ummmmm....Please don't tell me Menard and the HillTop Motel is in the heart of Hill Country. That would be one disappointment more than I could take. First, the no American boys fighting Asian Wars President, then the No new Taxes President, then the Education President...and finally, the no hills in hill country Hilltop Motel.

This photo is a little more representational of the Texas Hill Country--The San Marcos River.

Oh, and I've never really stayed at The Hilltop, just heard about it.

Click on my signature for current location...
