|
|
Hi recently I posted a message asking for help about a job in Anyang. I was told to ask to speak to teachers at the school by members of this forum.
The response to my request has been the following:
When you are accepted with an institute, they will give you a teacher contact b4 you make your mind up.
IS this normal or suspicious or what? IS that typical?
Thanks |

It doesn't seem abnormal.
Typically the timeline for being recruited is:
=Send e-mail to recruiter.
=Get job offer specs or list of current llistings.
=Tell the recruiter which ones you are interested in.
=The recruiter will try to sell you to the school.
=The school is interested.
=You get a contract to look at.
=If the contract looks attractive and you look like you can come to terms.
++++then you will have the opportunity to talk to the current teachers.
=You like what you hear. You make final adjustments to the contract.
=Sign the contract.
=Send it and your documents to Korea to begin the visa process.
=Get your visa confirmation number from Korea.
=Go to the embassy with your number, your passport and some cash.
=Get the visa placed into your passport.
=Get on a plane and come to Korea. |
