Hmmmmm...Beckham didn't make the national squad. True, the match against Greece is just a friendly, but is this a sign of things to come? Have we seen the last of Beckham playing for the English?

LONDON (AP) - David Beckham was dropped from the England soccer team Friday by new coach Steve McClaren.
Beckham, 31, stepped down as captain last month after limping off with ankle and Achilles tendon injuries during the second half of England's World Cup quarter-final loss to Portugal. The Real Madrid star said he still wanted to play for the national team.
McClaren didn't name him in the squad to play Greece in Wednesday's friendly - his first match in charge. |

I think we'll see him again. Isn't this just a friendly that the team is playing? A chance to blood younger players.
Best news is that Ben Foster from Watford is in the squad, legend!! |

i agree, i think this is just a message to becks that his dropable, Surely having a Chelsea reserve over a real madrid 1st choice is temporary insanity. Becks isn't as good as he was but still brings something to the squad. |
