Anyone have the details of the public service strikes planned soon? I know that there will be a number of strikes over the next few days / week but I would appreciate the details from one of the well informed people on this board. Cheers! |

I heard about this today as well. Strikes? No info? Where's Real Reality when you actually need a news report? |

Actual reality... - bus and subway coming soon - anyone?
Railway operations across the nation were crippled yesterday as unionized railroad workers continued their strike for a second day.
The strike curtailed train operations to less than half their normal level, suspending the vast majority of freight trains.
The operation of passenger trains remained at 36.5 percent of the normal level and metropolitan commuter trains ran at 62.7 percent of their capacity as of yesterday morning. |

Line #1 service was on strike this weekend and it SUCKED. Nothing like coming home to Bucheon from a long day fooling around in seoul on a jammed pack subway train. Avoided it for that reason yesterday. Hope this is just a weekend thing because if it continues this week, no way i'm going to seoul via the subway. |
