Anyone else hear about this..

I can't imagine hundreds of Koreans going nuts to this legendary group.
I remember 2 years ago, Merylin Manson came here for one show/concert.
He left the stage after 40 minutes...crowd royally sucked/silent in their seats. He couldn't get into their Kimchi groove. I thought it was hilarious..

watch the youtube videos of pantera playing live in seoul.

granted metrendica is 100,000 times ghaeyer than pantera, but korean kids do love their metal. i think you'll be proved wrong.

They were here back in 1998 or so, and played to a full house.

Yep. I'll be outside the main doors selling downloaded Metallica MP3 CDs with the title "Lide the Rightning".

I think this is the third time I posted this message...?

How long will the concert last? In October 2003, I went and saw Marilyn Manson. It was only a 90 minute show.

I got a ticket through a Korean friend last month. I don't know if any tickets are available. Someone posted the ticket website on a previous post last month. I am going to see Tool, but since I paid 120,000 won, I'll stick around for Metallica. I was going to make a post today and ask if anyone wants to meet for a meal or a drink before the show. Any takers? Bibbity

Last time I saw Metallica it was a 3 hour show, with no opening acts. Now, the boys have gone down hill since then so I don't know. I've seen them several times and it has been a quality show each time, well worth the money regardless of what you think of their new musical turn. They'll be playing some stuff from there new album also. Saddly I won't be in Korea to catch them this time around, although they'll be back on there full tour supporting the new album.

Now, the real question I have is this. Any word Maiden will hit Korea this winter? New album is out soon and they'll tour the heck out of it.

I'll be taking the subway from Incheon. Is the stadium nearest to Jamsil station? if so which exit, and can you walk from there?

As for Maiden bombenhagen it seems they play 4 shows in Japan but none in Korea according to their website.

I was at that Marilyn Manson show... it was funny because a bunch of the Koreans around us kept glancing over to us to see how we should "dance" to his music..

In our well lubricated states we started mimicing Beavis and Butthead's rock on moves.. I swear we had 25-30 people surrounding us doing it within 30 seconds.

Good times.

I guarantee you'll see a lot of clapping... but then again, I don't think Metallica will be playing much of their older, harder stuff, but rather the newer, radio-friendly tunes....
