Google EXACTLY the error message/warning you are receiving...
If it says you should buy their product, what you have is some malware that is PRETENDING you have a virus and they want you to buy a product to fix a problem they put on your system in the first place.
That said, google exactly your error message and you'll find a way to get rid of it. |

Load a new anti-virus program that does a bootscan. I know Avast does (free home verison at www.avast.com ) and maybe AVG does that (not sure, though). A bootscan is a scan that's done before you load windows. After installing, the software should prompt you and ask if you want to do one after restarting. Say "YES". I always make sure I've updated virus definitions, if possible, before doing it.
Those Korean anti-virus programs are worthless crap. |

How do you know you need to purchase their software online to get rid of the virus? Crowzone is right, this sounds like malware. What's the name of the product you're supposed to buy? |

No, he's right. It sounds like that stupid Korean anti-virus program that they load onto our computers at work. I can't remember the name? Dr. Virus or something like that. When it finds something, it asks for you to sign up on their site to pay (Korean ID, etc.).
The icon looks like a capsule pill. |

It's a W32.Myzor.fk@yf virus that inmfects files with .exe extensions. It steals passwords and info from the computer.
Everytime i open a new browser window its redirected to a security center to lead me to the download site of the product they want me to buy. |

The posters are right. It's malware. A few days ago, I went to my Korean friend's house and he was freaking out. I was like WTF? I check his PC and I knew right away.
Unfortunately, almost every freaking Korean site (and other sites I may ad) has malware attached to it. |

lol. Terrible malware I may add. These are just locations of folders and sub-folders on your harddrive. These aren't files. |
