|

I am planning a 2-year trip around the world. I have to admit that Korea is not one of the countries that I was dreaming of going to...but it came up in my searches for jobs for travellers. I have since researched the board quite a bit gathering information. I would like to stop in Korea and work for a bit teaching english to finance the rest of my travels. I do not plan on staying for a long time..maybe a few months or so at most. It seems as if most people on this board have made a career out of teaching in Korea and have been abroad for years. Is it possible for me to get a job for only a couple months? Or are these positions hard to come by? Are free apartments only offered to those with one-year contracts? Is it horrible of me to sign a one-year contract and then leave early? Or is this pretty common? How do I know where do find a good school? |

Do a summer or winter camp.
Or ask for a six-month contract. |

If your school is cheating you, then no it isn't horrible. If the school is good and you ditch them, then yes, you are horrible. Please don't be horrible. |
