Has anyone ever used this or rather, does it still exist? After my contract is up, my boyfriend will be flying out to Korea to do a two week tour with me. So far, my plan is to go to Seoul->Busan->Fukuoka->Osaka->Tokyo. I saw bits and pieces on the web about a 7 day Korea-Japan Through-ticket but I'm unclear on what it offers. Does it allow me to use any korea rail, ferry and japan rail (as long as it's within my 7 day limit)? I wonder if it's just easier/cheaper to get a regular 7-day JR Rail Pass and just pay the prices for a one way ticket on the KTX to Busan and one way ticket on the ferry to Fukuoka.

don't know why it was so hard for me to find it before, esp since it's on the korail site =P. Anyway, here is the link in case anyone else is looking for it.

i'm not sure how that through ticket works. do you pay for each separate fare for the trains and ferries? are the lsited prices the discounted prices? all i know is that the JR pass costs 236,000.

if you buy 2 separate non-reserved tickets for FUKUOKA->OSAKA and OSAKA->TOKYO, it's cheaper at around 150,000 total.

sorry i can't be of more help.
