Already bought some red roses and a dangly thing for her phone that she previously told me she liked. Booked a table for two at Outback at 8 tonight. Am I the best boyfriend or what?? Smile

For our 4th anniversary (which was during the horrible rains and flooding), I did this for the Chica.

Dinner at Il Vino Rosso, consisting of duck in red wine sauce, lasagna (don't get it), bottle of wine
60 roses (was supposed to be 48 )
Diamond pendant

The rain let up just long enough for us to go out and do that. As soon as we walked in the door, it started up again. Wanted to take her up to the top of Seoul Tower, but the rain made it pointless.

Surprised

Zyz....was that for your four month or year anniversary? I'll assume it's year, either that or you were pretty whipped after 4 months!

Before improved health care, nutrition, and laws preventing mothers from pouring gasoline on their son's GF, most Korean relationships didn't last after 100 days?

That's great. But I'm hoping The Outback is her favorite restaurant because, to me, The Outback does not equal romantic.

Well to be fair, he may live in the sticks where Outback is the big fancy Western place.

And it's also only six months.

rawiri: Yeah, 4 years bro. Same chick I've been with since before I started posting on this board. Shocked

How do you determine when your anniversary is for dating? Do you base it on the day that you met the person, or the first date, or the day you both agreed you were an exclusive couple? What if you never had that talk and just slid into a relationship?

That is the sadest thing I have heard all day. Crying or Very sad I hope you dumped his nasty ass.

My bf and I had a rough start so we're both confused about when our aniversary is but on Valentine's Day last year he made me a bookmark that said "I love you - Korea 2005." So f-ing cute. I on the otherhand forgot his birthday two years ago Shocked . Ooops!

Any ideas for this coming Christmas?

The boy loves to eat, smoke p07, and have s-e-x. I know he's complex but... I can't think of anything that creative. After four years I am running out of ideas.

Luckily for me, it's all on the same day. It was convenient like that.

My problem is that I get June and July confused, so I sit around thinking June, and she's like "July, dumbass."

Oh god....I remember the SHIT I got for knowing nothing about that. Would have been nice if she'd told me in advance. Confused

BTW: why is it that all girls seem to love diamonds?

The 6 month mark isn't a big deal to me and I've never really thought to celebrate it. The one year mark sure. But half a year? Hrm.

So I took her to Outback!!!!!! Wow!!! I know it's hardly a candlelit dinner on the ritz balcony overlooking gay Paris, but it was the gesture more than anything else. Plus we both enjoy a steak now and again and it was six months together not six years. So give me a break.

We had a great time with a few drinks afterwards in a cosy bar we like and she loved the roses too. Once again I will say that I am the best boyfriend ever. Laughing
