I've played a number of online games going the other way (from Korea to the US), and for a FPS, the lag is just too much. Basically, I was playing in the past; it already-happened, I was fragged there, but still skipping around motionless here.
cubanlord...are the players on your server Korean? Or in Korea? What kind of ping are they getting from you? |

Right now:
12 players
3 players from Korea (highest ping between them is 20).
The other players are scattered through out:
Germany - 2 players highest ping at 70
There is one USA at 243 ping.
Man...my server is great.
Currently, Avg. ping = 57 with 12 players. |

seriously though, yesterday was crazy. All of the Koreans (they were 6 deep), got on one team, then it was Korea vs. all. MAN I MOPPED THE FLOOR WITH THEIR PUNK A$$ES.
THEY came on here thinking this was like "sudden attack" or some stupid crap like that. Low and behold, they failed to realize that daddy was their to give them their appropriate a$$ whippin!
A few games later we got together and played others. We played well (they lacked direction).
It was funny with me typing in English (balliwa, kaja, ilowa, etc.). I don't have the korean fonts on my pc...but they understood. |

Did you change the name of the server, or is it offline?
BTW look for a map called "Asylum". |

Hey. I took it off to give my machine a rest. It's up and running now. I'll add asylum now. |

I'm not a big games guy but a few years ago I had a nasty addiction to RTCW Multiplayer while burning university office hours. My ID identified myself as being in Korea [KOR], and in the course of the game it was always interesting to read the racial insults thrown my way from North American 12 year old boys.
Lag times weren't bad - I recall 250 being typical - mainly because Korea has freaking amazing internet. |

lol. Yeah. I just got done playing a few. Bulsajo was in there too. We were flooded by Koreans. It was great. Almost like a Korea vs. all thing (we dominated of course). |

I can never got on, Server is always full now, and when I do the lag means I'm dead before I know it. But thanks for introducing me to FEAR MP! I';ve found some great servers with other maps and games. Slow-mo DM and TEAM slo-mo DM are great!
But best of all is Control, which brings a tear to my eye in memory of the first UT which put out this game. |

yeah. If I am not regulating my site, people get on there with pings over 300 which in turn screw up decent games.
lol. Yeah it is. Everytime I want to play, I have to kick people out just to make a spot for myself. lol. |

Try setting up "Control", it's the FEAR equivalent of UT's "Domination" games. Excellent fun.
FEAR seems built for UT-style assault games, but I can't find anything like that... |
