During Chusok, is everything closed?
What is there to do while all the Koreans are partying with their living and dead relatives?
I don't plan on leaving the country... but I don't want to be sitting in my apartment for 3 days either.

Half of Chosok falls on the weekend anyway. What is it with 2006???!!! Virtually all the public holidays are on a Saturday or a sunday!! Why bother?

Are you joking? The holidays are great this year. You must be thinking of 2005.

It isn't like it used to be. Most stores will be open. Travelling will be a nightmare, as usual. You are probably too late to get tickets.

Yeah. Traveling is usually a nightmare around and out of Korea. It is always peak season. Sad Just go to a travel agent and get what you can. I myself am going to Taiwan.
