I agree that the Search function should be used first, but don't you also think that this site is getting too fragmented - it's not automatically obvious that labor board numbers are listed under 'Tax'. There are many double or triple posts on topics that have already been covered umpteen times. Any ideas how to clear up this site and make finding information clearer?

A short cut to all the numbers for labor boards across Korea - there are different labor boards depending on your district:

under FAQ there are important contacts that list numbers, it is also listed under a couple of other posts as well....the point being is: if anyone took longer than 5 minutes to search around (even without the notorious search function) they would be able to find 80% of the info they are looking for.....unfortunately most people seem too lazy to be bothered!

Possibly they are too stresssed to think straight, or never had the experience of dealing with crooked bosses before. Why do simple questions by posters always end up with fecal matter cast their way?

Because in this instance it's worth a bit of fecal matter. Grotto is quite correct is posing the question, "Why not spend more than 5 minutes using the search function?" This topic has been covered god knows how many times in the past. Smile

If you type in "Korea Labor Board" on google, then you can find what you're looking for in a second or two.

Very true

Because many posters here are:
1) Immature kiddies
2) Full of it- they've never actually stood up to their bosses
3) Rats who help the hogwan owners/directors
4) Hogwan owners and directors who post here pretending to be westerners
5) Illegals who couldn't pass remedial college classes

Ha. Yeah I guess I was feeling a bit lazy that day I posted. But, the responses can be a little belligerent at times by those who feel like dishing it out for whatever reason. And talk about trolls...

Why do some posters feel that they must say something nasty at all? Answer the question and move on, or ignore it and move on. How hard is that?

IKFG...maybe you could point out the fecal matter and the nasty stuff! It was simply a comment stating that many people who post on here dont even try to find things themselves.....and many of the items have been covered multiple times and are listed in the FAQs!

I'm all for helping out a newb and someone in trouble but sometimes their has to be a line drawn!

Fecal matter was a poor choice of words! Crap or ass syrup would have been better. Anyway I was feeling the sameway with the member who asked the question about the E7 Visa. It only takes a little research. FAQ are there for a reason. We are not branding the OP for life, but raising his awareness.
