Okay, most of us agree that the Koreans who are princesses are lame, that the whining of both princesses and kids is annoying, and on a few other little things.
But, ask your Korean friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/in-laws/co-workers or whatever, particularly those who have lived in an English-speaking culture, what little annoying things do we have? |

One Korean guy told me he found it incredibly annoying that foreigners will start saying something then take a bite of food in the middle, chew for a minute, then finish what they were saying. Thereby leaving the listener hanging so as not to talk with their mouth full.
I have to say, after he pointed this out to me, I started noticing foreigners do it too and it has become a pet-peeve.
Finish what you're saying then eat!!!!
Or, just do what Koreans do and talk with your mouth full!! |

Running chicks over with tanks.
(Not really a 'little' thing, but still a bad habit they like to complain about.)
Uh, that's all I could think of as we are all God's gifts to Korea.
Actually, the Koreans I've met living in Canada and America have never complained like what goes on here. Well, one guy said it was harder to get a Canadian girlfriend, but he still preffered Canadian gals to the Korean princesses. |

Koreans hate Koreans. That is what my co-workers always stress. They always hate it when someone pushes them, and when a soju old man talks loud and fights, and when people are rude, and long lines, and kids running everywhere, and questions about age, why not married, why this, why that, my co-workers are always telling me about the things here that make them so angry
I even read an article by Hines Ward and his mother, and his mother said basically the same thing, that Koreans in the states hate each other. |

Boo-shi!
This seems to peeve the people here to no end. Oh, yeah, and Japan, too. Anything to do with Japan. Or Bush.
It's another reason why I defer answering the question from some stranger about what country I'm from. I'm really not interested in hearing for the umpteen-thousandth time about what the people here hate about Bush. Of course, there are some things about what Bush is done that I maybe think should have been done differently, but I don't spout off about every. single. thing I don't like every. single. time Bush's name comes up in a friendly conversation.
Same goes for whenever Japan comes up in a conversation with a local. |

They hate it when foreigners speak up about bad service.
Okay, maybe that one's just me and my husband.
And heaven forfend you swear at or give the finger to bus and taxi drivers! (though they do it) Okay, maybe that's just us as well. |

No kidding. I've made several Korean friends angry and embarrassed just by making a small complaint to a bank manager or restaurant manager about bad service. I wasn't rude, but I did state my complaint firmly. My Korean friends, without exception, were horrified when I did that. |

There's a good book called Ugly Koreans, Ugly Americans. It's Americacentric, of course, but it gives you an idea. Some examples:
- Eating while walking around or on the subway/bus. Notice that you never see Koreans do this. I've gotten some strange looks for it.
- Shaking hands too firmly.
- Not respecting customs such as deference to elders and giving/receiving with two hands.
- Being so damn good looking that the ladies wreck their cars. Well.. that's more anecdotal than generalizable. |

Koreans hate the truth...... period. No matter what the truth is about.
But then...I guess the same could be said about anyone......
