Has anyone done a Tokyo visa run lately? I just found out I can stay in Tokyo with a friend, so I am opting to go there as opposed to Osaka or Fukuoka, but it depends on how long a visa takes to process.
Important question: How long does the visa processing take? The sticky for visa runs in "Other" cities is older and needs to be updated. It says it takes 50 hours, which is fine. Another post I read digging through forums said 5 days, which is not fine. Anyone know?
I may have a Korean friend all the consulate there tomorrow.

| When are you going? Im going next week. I found the same info saying that it takes 2 days for your visa. |

| I got a Korean friend to contact the Korean Consulate in Tokyo (which was harder than it sounds...all four of their lines were busy for a while, I just had to redial for a bit). If I submit my visa on Monday morning, I will get it back on Wednesday. Great news for me, I'm off to Tokyo! |
